Returns and Refunds Policy

Items may be returned and/or refunded under the following circumstances:

  • You no longer want your item/s
  • Your item/s arrived damaged
  • Your item/s are not as described on our website
  • You have received the wrong item/s

Our standard returns policy lasts 14 days after receipt of item/s. Please contact us first via our contact page before returning an item.
 
If you do not want any item/s in your order, you have the right to return the item, and receive a refund, without question, providing:
  • You contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, with your order number and what you want to return. If 14 days have gone by since receiving your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund.
  • Your item/s are unopened (in original packaging, if any), unused and undamaged.
  • Once you’ve told us of a return, and we’ve instructed you on the returns process, we must receive the item/s within 14 days (21 days outside of the UK) of first contact. You will then receive a refund within 14 days of us receiving the item/s.

    In your parcel, you would have received a slip of paper from our warehouse, where you can indicate your reason for return. Please enclose this in your parcel, so our warehouse knows what to do with your item once they’ve received it. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable (you will therefore only receive a refund on the items that are returned).
    Please always ask for proof of posting, as without this, you can not apply for compensation, if your item is lost in the post. If you are shipping an item/s worth over £30, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and therefore you may not receive your refund.

If you have received a damaged item/s, please immediately photograph the parcel container (if damaged) and the damaged item.
Please then send this photograph within 14 days of receiving your item/s to librarian@spirituality4.me, with details of the damage and your purchase information (order number).

Please also state whether you want a replacement or a refund. We will then judge if it is necessary to return the item to us. Please do not just return the item back to us.

If we request that the item needs to be returned to us, then the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund. If you ask for an exchange, then the cost of return shipping will be refunded to you. Please email us the cost of shipping, with proof of postage.

If the item/s you have received is not as described on our website, or you’ve received the wrong item/s, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the item/s, stating the problem. We will then instruct you as to the returns process. Please let us know if you wish for a refund, replacement or another item.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate/voucher will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

If we deem it necessary for you to return your item/s, once it is/they are received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item/s.

Then your refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you have paid via cheque then we will email you credit for your next purchase in the form of a voucher code, or we can arrange payment via bank transfer. 

If you have paid with a gift card, then we shall issue you a new gift card for the applicable amount.

If you haven’t received a refund to your payment card yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us via our contact page.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are returning an unwanted item/s, then shipping costs are non-refundable. Please always ask for proof of posting, as without this, you can not apply for compensation, if your item is lost in the post.

If you receive a refund due to a damaged item/s or because you were sent the wrong item/s, and we deem the item worth returning, then the cost of return shipping will be added to your refund. Please email us the cost of shipping, with proof of postage.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item valued at over £30, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item/s.

If your order does not arrive within the stated delivery time (please see our delivery page for information) please contact us via our contact page. If you chose a courier delivery, then please refer to your tracking code sent to you via email, this should tell you where your item is. If you chose a non-tracked, no compensation Royal Mail postal service, your parcel/s can’t, unfortunately, be tracked. You will need to wait 30 days for the item to arrive (from the next working day after your order date). After this date, if your order still has not arrived we can either replace the item/s not delivered or you have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund including postage costs.
