Hours: 2 days a week, 3 hours each day (Hours can be flexible to meet applicant’s schedule)

Rate of Pay: £15.50 per hour

Job description: The role will include the smooth running of the various activities of the Reading Room including facilitating the financial activity such as banking and petty cash, stock records and ordering, and mail orders.  There is a software package (4Shop by Bibase) on to which all stock is listed, sales invoices are generated, monthly sales reports are generated and through which sales are transacted. 

This role will be supported by a team of Christian Science church members who are currently working in the Reading Room with the expectation of maintaining the current number of hours that the Reading Room is open.

Candidate requirements: The applicant would preferably be a class taught Christian Scientist who is orderly, efficient, proficient with IT, has good communication skills and has a friendly disposition.
