The Destiny of The Mother Church by Bliss Knapp

4 in stock

Ira O. Knapp and Flavia Stickney Knapp were two of Mary Baker Eddy’s most faithful students. Ira Knapp served as a member of the original Christian Science Board of Directors, and Mrs. Eddy considered Flavia Knapp to be one of her best healers. Written by their youngest son, Bliss Knapp, himself a Christian Science practitioner, teacher, and lecturer for several decades, this volume contains a first-hand account of the establishment of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and of one family’s long and close relationship with the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. The book has excerpts from letters to and from the Knapp family and Mrs. Eddy, and contains examples of Christian Science healing.
